To make our day easier, and help assure Glenn's new hip didn't acquire to many miles, we rented a motorized scooter. The name on the scooter cracks me up:
Mr. Kerezman wanted to head for the Tower of Terror, so we did that first!
The hotel was creepy!
Poor Troy had no idea what was in store. He only knew we were about to take the elevator to the 13th floor!!!
We watched the Twilight Zone guy, Rod Sterling, welcome us into another dimension.
The elevator ride was surprising to say the least! I wish I would have got Troy's expression on film!
Next up, was Bug's Life Land! Troy was traumatized enough by the most intense ride in park, we thought he could use some whimsical scenery which included Popsicle stick benches!
We all got shrunk down to bug size! Check out the four-leaf clover:
Restrooms were located inside the turned over tissue box!
We watched an awesome 4D Movie and at the end some of the bugs got to exit first, like the roaches and slugs. Troy actually felt them run underneath him!!! I think he stopped shaking from the Tower then. :-)
All the rides in the park were spectacular, but one of my favorites was Mickey's Farris Wheel!
If you look closely, you can see why! Some of the cars are on a loose track and move within the wheel!!! How creative is that?
I'm glad we didn't wait until dark to ride Mickey's Ferris Wheel, as it closes early because of the World of Color Show over the lake below!
Troy was scared at first, but Hub's motherly instincts kicked in and he told Troy to quit being a Baby!
Jumping Jellyfish was nothing compared to parasailing!
The view was cool!
Toy Story had a fun ride that was a Shootin Game! We all got to compete for the highest score! I think Glady's won!
Radiator Springs was really neat! We all got to meet Mator-- he is my favorite truck!
We ate lunch at the Cozy Cone Motel, where we shared cones made of bread filled with chili, or mac n cheese with bacon bits! The food was very good!
I also had a drink of frozen apple juice with marshmallow topping, it's called Red's Apple Freeze! It's deliciously unique! The motel's amenity is 100% Refrigerated Air!
Troy joined in the dance party in the street! I was too busy dancing to get any pics!
The Comfy Caverns was another motel option. They offer a Lincoln Continental Breakfast!
We drove around in a red hotrod on an adventure at Comfy Caverns!
The last ride of the day was the Monster Inc. It was one of those relaxing rides that goes through scenes of the movie. It was very well done; I was impressed! True Disney style does that to me! I also find the details to be very amusing! Anyone care for a can of OOZE?
California Adventure is the best theme park I have ever been to!!!
