Downtown Disney

On the last day of our California vacation, we shopped the Downtown Disney area.

It's almost like any other shopping experience only more fun.  Dory and her friends invited everyone to come party with them!

Ya'all know we did; Troy had MOVES to show off!!!  ;-)

The decorations are awesome at Downtown Disney.  I mean life size Beauty and the Beast made from Legos--  WOW!

Artistic wares were the most common items including hand blown glass...

... Lego kits-- how about the Incredible Hulk for a little inspiration?...

... and original paintings!

I totally can relate to Goofy!

Huey, Dewey and Louie better be careful up there!

Jean got her Nerd on, with some Star Wars mouse ears!  :-)

Gladys enjoyed good wifi-- it's her thing.

Browsing and shopping was a fun way to spend the morning.

My beloved got me a souvenir bracelet:

We heard good things about Pizza Press, so we gave it a try.

It was very good and reminded me of Subway restaurants, but all about pizzas.

Indiana has speed bumps, and California has SPEED HUMPS!

Our last stop before heading to the airport was Hub's place.

He lives in a very nice townhouse.

And his mother no longer cleans up after him!  ;-)

It was a lovely vacation!

Time to say goodbye to California and Hub.

We arrived early at LAX Airport, and had about an hour to kill.

Time went by quickly-- for the entire length of the vacation.

The flight home was uneventful.

And it went by quickly as well, literally.

Sunset occurred faster than usual, as we gained a few hours on the trip back.

My kids were perfectly behaved the entire time, as usual!   JK  I'm definitely going to need a vacation from my vacation!  :-)

The flight landed about 11PM at the O'Hare Airport in Chicago.

Arriving later in the evening does make for better traffic for the drive home.

Sophie missed me!  France did too, but he wasn't into having his pic taken.

It was good to be back home.  It's odd how after being on vacation, things like the house, look a bit different.   I found it all to be quite pleasant.  Coming home, was right up there with leaving-- both were enjoyable in there own way.
